Warehouse Specialist is responsible for overseeing and executing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, inventory control, and shipping of materials.

This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards to support seamless supply chain and business operations.



Responsibilities







+ MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:



+ Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.



+ Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer or internal orders for dispatch.



+ Maintain proper inventory levels through regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations.



+ Organize and store materials systematically to ensure easy retrieval and minimal handling time.



+ Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and efficiently.



+ Update warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software with accurate transaction data.



+ Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely material flow.



+ Monitor and maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.



+ Assist in optimizing warehouse layouts, storage methods, and processes for efficiency.



+ Support audits, reporting, and documentation of inventory and warehouse operations.

Qualifications







+ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



+ EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:



+ High School Diploma or equivalent.



+ Must have a valid Real ID State Driver's License without restrictions.







+ SECURITY CLEARANCE:



+ Must be able to pass the standard background check.



+ Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.







+ EXPERIENCE:



+ Four (4) years or more experience in warehouse operations.



+ Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.



+ Forklift license and experience preferred



+ Knowledge of the applicable regulatory supply systems.



+ Knowledge of warehouse operations and the use of Protected Personal Equipment (PPE)



+ Other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.



+ Organizational skills, ability to prioritize, perform with a high degree of accuracy.







+ SKILLS:



+ Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)



+ Possess high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism.



+ Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.



+ Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.







+ SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:



+ Standard office equipment, associated computer applications, forklift







+ WORKING ENVIRONMENT:



+ Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vest, steel or composite shoes/boots, safety gloves, hard hat and eyewear in certain areas.



+ Work will typically be in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.



+ There may be times when an employee is exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.







+ PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:



+ Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.



+ Must be able to operate in a warehouse and outdoor type environment.



+ Must be able to walk on uneven ground and within work various sites 6-8 hours a day in performance of duties.
